Participation:

• Eligibility: The scavenger hunt is open to all, but participants under the age of 18 must have permission from a parent or guardian.

• Registration: Participants must register online by clicking here or when they scan the first QR code.

The Hunt:

• Location: Participants must visit the registered businesses listed on the event page.

• Selfie Time: Participants are required to take a selfie with the sign at each business location.

• Social Media Post: The selfie must be posted on social media with the event hashtag [#UTB Chamber] and tag both the Location they're visiting and the Upper Tampa Bay Chamber of Commerce.

• QR Code Scan: After showing the post to the business, participants must scan the provided QR code and send the TEXT message generated by the QR code.

• SMS Confirmation: After sending the code you will receive a confirmation of your visit to that location

Additional Rules:

• Respectful Behavior: Participants must be respectful to the businesses and other customers. Any disruptive behavior will result in disqualification.

• Safety First: Participants should prioritize their safety and the safety of others and follow all traffic and pedestrian laws while moving between locations.

• Time Frame: All tasks must be completed within the stipulated time frame announced on the event day.

• Prizes: Winners will be selected based on the completion of all tasks and will be announced on December 18th 2024. Prizes must be claimed within 30 days of the announcement.

Disqualification:

• Rule Violation: Any violation of the above rules will result in immediate disqualification from the scavenger hunt.

• Decision Finality: The decisions of the Upper Tampa Bay Chamber of Commerce are final and binding in all matters related to the scavenger hunt.

Consent:

• Media Release: By participating, you grant the Upper Tampa Bay Chamber of Commerce permission to use your name, photograph, and/or video for promotional purposes without compensation.
